Pedestal handrails and bases

A pedestal is an architectural element that performs both load-bearing and decorative functions. Usually, bollards are used in the facade design of the building for the visual separation of balustrades and fencing of balconies and other areas. Thanks to the bollard you can set an accent in the entrance hall, balcony or any other area used in the design of the architectural style. Any pedestal includes several components.

The base of the pedestal usually has a square shape. The middle part of the pedestal is the main part. It can be prefabricated or cast. The corners of the pedestal are usually decorated with a relief profile. The lid of the cabinet is also usually shaped like a square, similar to the base. All proportions of the cabinet are usually different, because they are made to individual orders of architects.
